Your Steps to salvation:
# 1. If you want to understand how to get saved, you must leave behind your old ways of thinking (the way you were trained, the way you learned to discern and analyzed the issues of life). Matthew18:3 says: “And He (Jesus) said: I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven”. For so many years, you have learned to analyze things your own way, whether you are 50 years old, 18 years old, 42 years old, 12 years old, etc., you have made decisions in your life based on your experiences.
This time, this decision is not based on your experiences but on a deep desire that comes from deep inside you to be reconnected with your Creator. We all have that voice crying from our deepest inner being. It is like a newborn baby crying for “mama”. No wonder there are a lot of doctrines in the world taking advantage of this deep cry of people and offer different solutions to bring people close to their creator (Ezekiel 22:27).
# 2. Understand that God’s desire is to have fellowship with you. He wants you to have abundant life to enjoy His fellowship.
The Bible says: “..I have come that they might have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10). Giving you abundant life required the supreme sacrifice: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). God desires fellowship and companionship with you. What a wonderful gift the Father has given, yet if God gave His own Son to provide an abundant and everlasting life, why don’t more people have what He has designed for us to receive? It is a question answered by this profound truth: God is Holy and our works/labor will never measure up as "The Perfect Arbitrator". Many people continue rejecting the idea that Jesus is the only way to the Father.
# 3. You must realize that you are separated from God. There is a gap between God and mankind. He has provided a way for us to receive an abundant and eternal life, but people throughout the ages have made selfish choices to disobey God Almighty. These choices continue to cause separation from the Father. God’s Word shows us that the result of sin is death. He says in His Word: "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." (Pro.14:12). And God also said, "But your iniquities have separated you from your God, your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear." (Isaiah 59:2). Paul the Apostle states in Romans 3:23, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." And in Romans 6:23 we read: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Every human was created with the ability and need to know God and fellowship with Him. Every day we hear of people who are rich, famous, achievers, star athletes—people who seem to have the best life can offer—yet they try to fill that empty void in their lives with "things." They even try good works, morality, religion, horoscopes, and other different doctrines. Yet they remain empty, for only God, through His Son, can fill that emptiness.
# 4. Accept the fact that God has provided THE ONLY ONE solution to sin and separation from Himself. Jesus Christ, His Son, is THE ONLY WAY TO GOD. Only He can reconcile us to God the Father. Mankind may seek other solutions and worship other gods, but Jesus Christ, alone, died on the Cross for our sins and rose in triumph over the grave and eternal death. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and mankind. The Bible says: "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8). We also read in the bible: "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.” (1Peter 3:18). Please understand that there is only one way provided: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5). For in John 14:6 we read: Jesus answered: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." God Almighty has provided THE ONLY WAY. Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sin and rebellion against God by dying on the cross, shedding His blood, and rising from the dead to justify and reconcile you back to God the Father. Can you realize how much love He has for you?
# 5. Received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. You can be brought back to God, and your relationship with Him can be restored by trusting in Christ alone to save your life from destruction. What an incredible exchange: Your worst for God’s best! You can’t go wrong! This step happens by asking Jesus Christ to take away your sin and to come into your heart to be your Lord and Savior. God’s Word is very clear: "Here I am! I stand at the door, and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20). The Bible explains to us: "That if you confess with your mouth, “JESUS IS LORD,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9). Are you ready? Are you willing to receive Jesus Christ as your lord and Savior now?
# 6 If you are, you can pray by simply saying:
Dear Lord Jesus,
I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You came to earth more than 2000 years ago. I believe you died for me on the cross and shed Your blood for my salvation. I believe you rose from the dead and ascended on high. I believe You are coming back again to earth. Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. Forgive my sins. Cleanse me now with Your precious blood. Come into my heart. Save my soul right now. I give you my life. I receive You now as my Savior, my Lord, and my God. I am Yours forever, and I will serve You and follow You the rest of my days. From this moment on, I belong to You only. I no longer belong to this world, nor to the enemy of my soul. I belong to You, and I am born again.
Amen!
By praying this prayer, confessing your sins, and receiving Jesus Christ into your heart, God has given you the right to become His forgiven child. The Bible gives you this assurance: "But as many as received him, to them he gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them who believe on his name" (John 1:12).
If you have just received Jesus Christ into your life, we want to rejoice with you. Send me a comment. I would like to share more things with you.
CONGRATULATIONS ! We will meet in heaven ! You have just become one of the greatest miracles. Every time a sinner accepts our Lord Jesus as Lord and Savior, there is joy all over in heaven
NOW......Walk with GOD:
What an honor to say: We are God’s Friends.
GOD WANTS YOU AS A FRIEND
God created you in His image so that He could have a personal relationship with you. God is seeking an intimate HEART to HEART relationship with you. Have you ever thought how the story would have gone if you would have been Adam? “…heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day,” (Genesis 3:6).What about if you were David? Or Abraham? Have you had special moments with your Dad that you treasure very much? There are some very good parents that have an outstanding friendship with their children, while still being parents. God is your Father but He desires friendship with you also. (James 2:23 NKJV) And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." And he was called the friend of God.
A parent that you can trust as a friend is a refuge of security, someone you will go to without hesitation about any problem, or temptation. We are speaking about a relationship that you enjoy very much and love to spend hours and hours together. God desires that you let Him be that kind of friend to you. (Psalms 91:1-2 NKJV) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shade of the Almighty. {2} I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust."
Jesus calls us His friends because He communicates with us. (John 15:12-17 NKJV) "This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. {13} "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one\'s life for his friends. {14} "You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. {15} "No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. {16} "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. {17} "These things I command you, that you love one another.
Our relationship with God is the most personal relationship we can ever have. My Father, God, is a jealous God; we are not to let anyone or anything come between God and us. (1Timothy 2:5 NKJV) For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. We are to be in Christ and Christ is in God, it is the Holy Spirit that unifies us together. God has given us His Holy Spirit to counsel, teach, and comfort us. Jesus said in (John 14:26 NIV) But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
Anyone that exalts himself as a mediator between God and man, besides Jesus Christ, has the spirit of an antichrist, a false Christ. A cult is a religious organization that separates people from the true God and their relationship with Him. There are some cults that have doctrine very similar to Christianity but they have their own interpretation of the Bible that comes from a central figure or office. They interpret the Bible for the members and some have their own book that they use to judge what is true from the Holy Bible. These cults discourage people from reading the Bible on their own because when people get the truth they leave the cult. There are others that take only certain verses from the Holy Bible to their convenience and use those verses to their own interpretation paying no attention to the rest of the Bible.
John warned believers about this. (1 John 2:26-27 NKJV) These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. {27} But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. The anointing is the Holy Spirit that teaches us.
Our relationship with God is a personal relationship. Do not let anyone or anything come between you and God. If you are not grounded in God\'s Word, and you do not know the voice of the Holy Spirit in you, then you are vulnerable to bad advice or even false doctrine. God has given apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for building you up in the faith of the Lord Jesus. They are there to encourage your relationship with God, and not to be a mediator between you and God. Everything they say and do should be pointing you to Jesus Christ and the Word. But we are to judge everything by the Word of God.
(Ephesians 4:11-16 NKJV) And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, {12} for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, {13} till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; {14} that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, {15} but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head; Christ; {16} from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
God desires that you enter into the secret place of His presence where there is fullness of joy. (Psalms 16:11 NKJV) You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Psalms 31:19-20 NKJV) Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men! {20} You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence From the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion From the strife of tongues.
The key is a closer, more intimate walk with the Lord. The key is deeper fellowship with the Father, deeper solidarity with the Son, deeper harmony with the Holy Spirit. It is the recognition that our Lord really is worthy of our all, that nothings makes more eternal sense than living absolutely for Him. The God of Abraham, the God of Moses, The God of David, the God of Paul, is still the same today. He still says: “Worship Me alone.” He still says: “Have no other gods.” His name is still Jealous (Ex. 34:14). He still demands radical loyalty. He still calls for ruthless love. He is still looking for friends to whom He can deposit His power and Compassion. We now can live a life of victory, a life of power because we are a supernatural people; born again by a supernatural birth. We wage a supernatural fight and are taught by a supernatural teacher, and led by a supernatural captain to assure victory. Think like a LEADER every day and you will become a LEADER God can use. A friend of God.
